Last June, Quadrant, BCD and ExcelSystems were acquired by Fresche Solutions, a leading provider of IBM i application modernization and management solutions. Since then, we been working as a single integrated company that continues to invest and support Quadrant and BCD products, support and services.
We have decided that now is the right time to move all of our employees to the same email domain. Last week, we transitioned all of our email addresses to @freschesolutions.com.
This means that email addresses of all our employees that ended in @bcdsoftware, @quadrantsoftware, @excelsystems and @freschelegacy have been changed to @freschesolutions.
To ensure that our emails are still delivered to you, we encourage you to add the freschesolutions.com domain to your email safe sender list. Here are some instructions to do this in Outlook 2016, 2013 and 2010. All emails sent to Quadrant, BCD and ExcelSystems addresses will be automatically forwarded to their new corresponding Fresche Solutions address.
We remain committed to keeping the Quadrant and BCD brands visible and active in the market. Their websites will remain active and continue to be the primary source of information on the solutions those brands offer. All of your contact points for each brand will also remain the same.
We thank you for your continued support of our mission to help our customers with all their IBM i application needs. We are more committed than ever to providing the broadest set of solutions and best expertise available in the IBM i market.
If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com. We’d be happy to help you!

It was great to see those of you who attended last week’s COMMON Conference and our PHP reception in Anaheim. There was so much positive energy at this year’s event.
Pete Massiello kicked off the opening session with a motivational presentation on the IBM i’s bright future. If you’re interested in details about the keynote speech, which mentioned double-digit revenue growth for IBM i, please read IT Jungle’s recap.
We always enjoy catching up with all of our IBM i friends. Plenty of Quadrant and BCD customers stopped by our brand-new booth and some even showed us the solutions they’ve created using our tools. We had a large amount of staff on hand to demo our new releases, including the upcoming WebSmart PHP Z-Ray extension and Presto 6.1.

We’re continuing to see a lot interest in application modernization and mobile, which were the topics of our sessions. It was also clear to me that our customers really see the value of our products and services. I heard many existing customers say that the support for our solutions are the best they’ve had, and that our products are intuitive and perform “better than spec.” One customer even mentioned that they do 27,000 faxes a day with FastFax. Another customer has created over 2,000 RPG applications with ProGen Plus and hundreds of web applications with WebSmart ILE.
We also co-hosted a PHP reception with Zend that many IBM i-on-PHP experts and developers attended. It was incredible to showcase our partnership with Zend and hear what people are accomplishing with PHP on IBM i.
We look forward to seeing you in Ft. Lauderdale this fall!
You may have heard that we recently announced a significant expansion to our partnership with Zend. We’re very excited about this news because it enables us to offer a more complete PHP solution, from rapid application development to deployment and services. You’ll soon see more integration between BCD and Zend, including an upcoming Z-Ray extension in WebSmart PHP.
You can read more in IT Jungle’s recent article, Zend and BCD Get a Little Closer For PHP.
We’re also hosting a webinar on Tuesday, April 21 with Zend’s Mike Pavlak. If you’re running PHP applications on Zend Server – or considering using PHP in the future – I highly recommend you attend this session. You’ll see how Zend Server 8 and Z-Ray help you optimize and debug PHP faster. You can sign up here.
If you’re attending COMMON’s Annual Meeting and Exposition in Anaheim, drop by the Quadrant and BCD Software booth (#101) where you can enter to win a GoPro Hero3 camera. While you’re there, we’ll be happy to answer your technical questions, demo the newest releases and discuss how our recent partnership expansion with Zend can benefit you.
We also invite you to attend our sessions:
